Though Kyra's Story is not quite as good as Tyrone's Story, I'm glad I read Tyrone's first, since this one explains better what Kyra's part in Sammy's death really was. It's really quite original. And the only reason these three characters are as good as they are is because each character has a different creator. This series is truly a masterpiece.
Anyway, since all three books are in the first person, Kyra is definitely a good character. There are many interesting sections of dialogue and thought, plus good additional characters. One thing I don't understand is why Mackall left one scene out in which Tyrone and Kyra go out on a date.
But no matter. This series is truly a masterpiece, as I said, and is definitely worth reading. It's not only entertaining; it's realistic and thought provoking. This series is based on choices; three of them. More books need to be written about the consequences of choices.
