Bell's latest book, The Whole Truth, ranks pretty high among his books.
The plot is about a man who witnessed his older brother's kidnapping at a young age. His brother ends up being kidnapped by a strange cult living in the mountains. The most interesting part of it is the plot's character involvement. Tangled in a giant web are the lawyer, who is having financial troubles, his ex-wife, his new secretary, his neighbor, his lost brother, the cult, local gangs, and the cult's servants. Here Bell weaves a web that takes the entire book to unravel.
The characters are well developed and the end is climatic and holds one's attention.
However, this should probably be Bell's last book, since he has written so many already that all have somewhat similar plots. If he should write more, he should try having no lawyer character for once.
