The best thing about Randy Singer is that he strives to write a different and original plot. There's no book I can really compare False Witness to.
The first part is about a bounty hunter couple who will work for pretty much anybody. Trouble comes when they mix with the wrong people. The mission? Find a Chinese mathematician who ha developed a powerful algorithm that threatens to cripple the Internet and national security.
On top of that, three law students are dragged into the mess by the wife because they can trust no one else.
The plot is executed in an original and entertaining way. The characters are developed very professionally. One of the best parts about is the romantic subplot. Singer crushes it for a logical reason and I applaud him for it.
The only problem with it I can think of is its nonsensical title. Other than that, it's superb.
