Why no one has ever written a Biblical fiction book from the viewpoint of someone other than the main character is beyond me.
The Shadow Women consists of three first-person accounts, each a different person who had direct contact with Moses. The first is his mother, the second his sister, the third his wife. All three are good characters.
Hunt has her historical research in line with this one, as usual. There is also lots of interesting speculation of her part that I feel in very accurate.
I never have very much to say about historical and Biblical fiction, since I'm not really an expert in any subject.
You'll just have to read this one for yourself.
